We had a great Cinco de Mayo in Hardy Island. Thomas's have friends who own a beautiful spot on Hardy Island. We had 3 of us tie up on a buoy and the other 3 at the private dock. Another beautiful weather day with Cinco De Mayo Margaritas and Taco's on the deck! Oysters, Clams and a nice hike on the island. We left on May 6 for the Octopus Islands via Hole in the Wall. The current was running strong but we had a wonderful night at our first stern tie to shore with 5 boats. Fran and Jeff went another way so it was Nelsea, Miners Debt, Magic Moment, Sea Life and Spirit Bear for the evening. Today we left back thru Hole in the Wall as the weather is definitely windy with gale force winds in the Johnstone straits so we decided to stay inside thru Dent Rapids and Cordero Channel. We are all tied up at the dock at blind channel - they opened the store for us and we will spend the night here before heading to Forward Harbor or Port Harvey depending on the winds.
