We have been in Nanaimo for a few days since the winds are howling but today is our opportunity to cross over to Pender. It is still blowing but predicted to be the best day for many many days so we will be leaving here about 8am. Whiskey Gulf is active which makes us have to cross over a different way so a bit lumpy of a ride we expect. We had a good few days in Nanaimo - even got a pedicure!
