Canada June 21-June 24

June 21 – A very very very rainy day so we watched movies (CODA was great). In the evening it cleared off enough to go back to the river but no bears this time.

June 22 – What a great day to leave – we had clearer skies and the views were spectacular – every bit as beautiful as Punchbowl in Alaska and we were treated to a bear in the water just past the Narrows to Culpepper Lagoon.  Definitely recommend a trip to this area for anyone coming this way – it is quite a distance but well worth the trip!  We stayed overnight in Rescue Bay by Jackson Narrows and it is our first time this trip anchoring with 6 other boats in the bay!

June 23-24  We headed for Yeo Bay to meet up with Willard and Diane again. We were treated with a few whale sightings and we passed by the Moonstone Yacht (196 ft) with its tender - Shadow(100+ ) and tow behind fishing boat.

It is a nice mostly sunny day which is a nice change! Since it looked like another spectacular sunshine day we decided to stay another night – there is a logging dump site so we walked the logging road for some exercise and at the end of the evening we were treated to our most spectacular sunset of the trip!
